Actress Sherilyn Fenn was born February 1st, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan to a family of musicians. The family eventually settled down in Los Angeles after frequently traveling. Rather than start at a new high school, Fenn became a student at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.

Fenn began her career in acting in the 1980s but admits that most of her roles during those years are forgettable. However, she did meet Johnny Depp during this period and the two began dating. It wasn't until 1990 that Fenn got a role she could be proud of and the role that would make her career. She was cast as Audrey Horne in the TV series "Twin Peaks" which ran 1990-1991 and was directed by David Lynch. Fenn's character developed a cult following and Fenn was given a small role in by Lynch in the film "Wild at Heart". After "Twin Peaks", Fenn was in a number of films including "Of Mice and Men". For this role, Sherilyn was nominated for the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival in 1992.

The following year, she was in three films including "Boxing Helena". Afterwards, her career took a downturn and Fenn didn't appear in a film until 1997. In 1998, Fenn got a part in the TV series "Rude Awakening" and was with the show until 2001.

In addition to dating Johnny Depp, Sherilyn Fenn has also been in several high profile relationships including with the musician Prince and actor Chris Penn. In 1994, Fenn married Toulouse Holliday and the couple had a son named Myles in 1993. They divorced later in 1997. Fenn then had another son named Christian with Dylan Stewart, an IT consultant.
