Lilli Carati is an Italian beauty who also tried and succeeds in movies. On 23rd Sept this year, she will turn 54. Good looking brunette got into the modeling world first and came close to the top in competitions for pageants. After the modeling dried up, she got into movies to continue with her presence in front of the lens. For almost a decade and a half she made a total of 28 movies. Majority of those were comedies with a bit of sexual flair.
What started off as funny softporn soon turned into hardcore, and in the last years of her career, she was heavily involved in adult movie industry. Her most acclaimed work came in form of a portrayal of a girl who decides to seek happiness outside of her home town with another friend, but doesn't see the limelight and gets killed in a most brutal way. This movie Avere vent'anni, made in '78 is still as popular today and was featured in '04 during Venice Film Festival.
As mentioned before, majority of Lilli's work revolved around sex and this movie also features girl-on-girl action. Her naked body in movies also scored her an appearance in Playmen and Albo Blitz (magazines for men of Italian Editions) on the front covers. Italian Edition of Penthouse also had her on the cover pages in '82. She also featured in Playboy in France and couple of magazine for men in America in their spreads inside.
Last photos available of her were in Italian Men magazine in Feb '90 with last pictures of her appearing in Celebrity Sleuth in '92. After all of this, she withdrew completely from the spotlight and hasn't appeared in any more movies or shows. Italian Nocturno ran an article about her on 5 pages in '97.
