Holly Marie Combs is an actress famous for her role in the TV series "Charmed" and "Picket Fences". She was born December 3rd, 1973 in San Diego, California. Her mother was only 15 years old when Holly was born and divorced Holly's parents after two years of marriage.
A career in show business seemed to run in Comb's blood though because her mother was an actress and singer. Later, when Holly was eight, her mother would marry a musician and the family moved to New York City. In New York, Combs moved around a lot and developed a gypsy-like habit which would remain with her later in life. Even now that Combs lives in one place, she must constantly redecorate in order to recreate a change in atmosphere. As a teenager, Combs began to pursue acting though she only received minor parts in movies.
In 1992, Combs got her big break when she was cast as the role of Kimberly in the TV series "Picket Fences". This same year, she was also cast in three different films. "Picket Fences" lasted until 1996. The year after, Combs was cast in the TV show "Charmed" as Piper Halliwell. She stayed with the series until 2006 when it was canceled. She even produced the fifth season with Alyssa Milano.
Holly Marie Combs has been married twice. Her first husband was Brian "Travis" Smith whom she married in 1993 and divorced in 1997. In 2004, Combs married David Donoho, who was a key grip on Charmed. Together, they have three sons and all live together in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles. After giving birth to her children, her acting career has slowed down though Combs still appears in films.
