Diane Lane is an award-winning actress whose career has spanned over 30 years. She was born in NYC in 1965 to a Playboy centerfold and night club singer, Colleen Price. Her father was a drama coach who ran a workshop for actors with John Cassavetes. After Lane's parents divorced, Diane went to live with her father. There were many family problems for Diane Lane, including running away at the age of 15 and later being kidnapped by her mother.

Lane's acting career began very early on in the theatre while she was still a pre-teen. She got her first major role at the age of 13 in the film "A Little Romance". She became a sensation and was dubbed a Hollywood "Whiz Kid". In the next three years, she was in eight different movies. She got serious attention as an adult actress in the 1983 film "The Outsiders". The actress continued to appear and star in various films, both hits and some failures. For her role in the 2002 film "Unfaithful", received Academy Award, Golden Globes and a Screen Actors Guild nominations. Diane Lane also gained a lot of attention for her personal life, especially in the 80s. During this time, she dated actors such as Matt Dillon, Christopher Atkins, and Timothy Hutton. She later also dated Jon Bon Jovi.

She was married to Christopher Lambert and the couple has a daughter named Eleanor Jasmine Lambert. However, they divorced in 1994 and Lane married actor Josh Brolin the same year. The new couple got a lot of media attention following an altercation in which Lane accused her husband of domestic battery. She never pressed charges and the couple are still together.
