She was born Adriana Sklenarikova on 17 September 1971, but changed her name to Adriana Karembeu (after she married). Adriana is a Slovakian model.
She started studying medicine in Czech Republic's capital, Prague, but entered a modeling contest and won. She left the studies for Paris, to become a model in 1997, at the age of 26. She modeled for many world renowned companies like Majestic, Roberto Cavalli and Victoria's Secret.
Thanks to her chest size, Adriana was really popular in Europe, thanks to the Wonderbra billboards. She appeared on magazine covers across Europe , from FHM in France in 2006, to GQ Germany 1999 and GQ Italy in March 2000 to Comso, Maxim and New Woman in UK in the years 1997, 1998 and 2000 respectively, along others in Greece, Poland and Spain. She was in various Ready-to-wear and Haute Couture fashions shows between 1994-2005.
Adriana Sklenarikova has the longest legs in the modeling world and thanks to those assets, she appeared in the Guinness Book of Records in 1998 (other models also appeared, Nadja Auermann and Anna Hickmann). Her legs measure 125cm (almost 50inches).
She married a French Footballer Christian Karembeu, whom she met on the plane from Milan to Paris in 1998. They were married the same year and are still married. She's been involved in charity work with Red Cross and was a co-presenter for 6 months on Italian show "Domenica in 2000".
